Sashi — Beverly Hills, FL

Anne Jones' shares a thank-you letter written to the Ranken Jordan medical team.

Sashi is 10 years old and has cerebral palsy (CP). Sashi received intensive surgery at St. Louis Children's Hospital to straighten bones in her legs that her CP caused to rotate internally.

To address the complications caused by cerebral palsy, Anne was told to go to Ranken Jordan. Anne and Sashi traveled all the way from Florida to St. Louis for intense, long term therapy and pain management. After a short leg cast was removed, Sashi began intensive physical, occupational, aquatic and speech therapy.

Sashi and her mom are now back home in Florida.

Hunter — Marion, IL

Hunter suffered from failure to thrive (FTT) and low weight. He was frequently making trips back to the hospital about every 3 weeks. Hunter's health was in jeopardy. Doctors thought Hunter was going to need a feeding tube to prevent him from spitting out his food.

Then, Melissa found Ranken Jordan. Hunter was able to gain the weight he needed. And after therapy he was no longer spitting out his food.

Hunter is now doing in-home therapy with his mother with no need for a feeding tube.

Otto — Joplin, MO

Only 11 years old, Otto suffered from a ruptured brain aneurysm causing a stroke. He couldn't talk, move his right side or even wiggle his toes.

After 22 days of therapy at Ranken Jordan Otto was walking with some assistance.
