The Child Life practicum student will be a part of the Pediatric Health Related Services (PHRS) team which includes Child Life Specialists, Recreational Therapists, and Music Therapists. The amount of hours for your practicum is based on your school's requirements. The typical requirement is 40 hours a week for six weeks with rotations in the various scheduled shifts and programming.

jill.wiethuchter@rankenjordan.org. The cover letter should include your intent and relevant coursework. Applications will be reviewed and interviews granted based on a selection process. If the below deadlines should fall on a weekend or holiday, the date will then be moved to the next business day. The dates are set according to the Child Life Council's recommendations.

Requirements from the student:

A written and legal contract with the university and Ranken Jordan

Start/end dates with any requested time off or possible scheduling conflicts

A recent TB test

Copy of vaccination records

Background check by the university
