Our Vision & Guiding Principles
Our Vision

Ranken Jordan will continue to realize the vision established in 1940 by Mary Ranken Jordan. Ranken Jordan will be known as a center of excellence by hospitals, the pediatric community, insurance companies, financiers of health care, and governmental agencies and will advocate for children regarding all issues related to the medically complicated child.

Guiding Principles

BELIEVE
We believe all children deserve the best care. We serve the medical, physical, cognitive, and emotional needs of children, believing that all children deserve the best care regardless of the financial situation of the family. We treat children with dignity, respect, and kindness in a child-centered and nurturing environment. We consider the children first in all we do.

RESPECT
We respect patients and their families. We encourage and support family involvement in caring for the child, knowing that families are vital to successful treatment. We believe in empowering families through education in the care of their child, and we support families in providing a safe home environment.

VALUE
We value our employees. Employees are critical to our mission, and the care we give to children and their families. Our work ethic exemplifies collaboration, teamwork and professional development.

We value our volunteers. We recognize the dedication of our volunteers and their importance to the success of our organization.

We value our Board of Directors. Their leadership and commitment empower Ranken Jordan to carry out the mission and succeed in our vision for the future.
