Children are admitted by referrals from other pediatric health care facilities and from children's hospitals. Ranken Jordan treats children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses including traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, burns, congenital defects, asthma, orthopedic needs, physical abuse and neglect, prenatal drug exposure, prematurity, oxygen dependency, tracheostomy care, and failure to thrive.
