A gift of cash is the most common and immediate way to give to Ranken Jordan. Cash gifts by an individual are tax-deductible up to an amount equal to 50 percent of the donor’s adjusted gross income for the tax year. Any excess is deductible over the next five years. A pledge or promissory note is not deductible until the gift is paid.
