About Community Shred
Community members are invited to bring all the unwanted personal documents they can for shredding by Shred-it mobile trucks for a donation of $5.00 per box up to 15"x10"x24" or bag. All proceeds will be donated to Ranken Jordan.
Why?
Identity theft is the fastest growing form of consumer fraud in North America. Community members can protect themselves by regularly destroying confidential and personal documents rather than disposing of them in non-secure places such as garbage bins.

Re: Shred-it and Ranken Jordan to hold Black Friday Community Shred Event in Hazelwood
It isn't clear whether Shred-it donates $5 for every box or the consumer pays $5 for every box.
Either way its a good idea.

Hi Doris -- It costs $5 to shred your unwanted private documents. Shred-it, in turn, will donate 100% of the money raised to Ranken Jordan.
