Despite a spinal cord injury in 2008 leaving him unable to move or speak, Albert always displayed optimism and determination. He has since gained movement in his arms and legs and continues to improve his speech.

Since his admittance at Ranken Jordan, Albert has talked about becoming a motivational speaker. He has since given two appearances: once at our annual gala, the Crystal Ball, to a crowd of over 400 people and his second at a health care conference shown in the above video.
