Maryland Heights Police Dept. and Santa

When we call for "backup" they are always there supporting our mission in every way—that's what the Maryland Heights Police Department is all about.

When Ranken Jordan relocated to Maryland Heights we received a warm welcome from the community. Although, we did not expect the warmest welcome to come from the local law enforcement. But it did. The Maryland Heights Police Department not only protect and serve but they show great love. We have witnessed it every year since we moved in. They are a tremendous support in all our annual events; however, the one event that has a special place in our patients' hearts is the MHPD's annual visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The Police Department takes the time to find out who our patients are, get their names and put them on not one, but several gifts. Imagine watching a young patient with their face pressed up against the glass window, or if they are well enough, outside in the cold December air. Hearing the faint shrill of a police car in the distance, Santa rounds the corner with his entire entourage of echoing sirens, as shouting kids greet them with open arms. It doesn't get any better than this! This has become the favorite day of the year at Ranken Jordan for everyone.

The Maryland Heights Police Department continues to share our mission throughout the community. We are truly appreciative for their support.

It is now our turn to honor and recognize their commitment to Ranken Jordan.
