Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

Board certified in pediatrics, Dr. Brian Kelly has extensive experience in pediatrics and neonatology. He comes to Ranken Jordan from ProgressWest Healthcare Center, where he was the medical director of pediatric services. Dr. Kelly also currently is a clinician track instructor of pediatrics at Washington University Medical Center.

A native of South Africa, Dr. Kelly received his medical degree in 1972 from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. After work at the Illinois School for the Deaf and the Visually Impaired and at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, Dr. Kelly became a pediatric consultant, and from 1997 to 1999 director of ambulatory pediatrics, at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Royal College of Physicians.

A Missouri native, Dr. Connie Simmons is a board-certified pediatrician who completed her residency with honors at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. She is a 1991 cum laude graduate of the University of Missouri School of Medicine and joins Ranken Jordan after serving as a staff physician at Cardinal Glennon.

Dr. Simmons is a former All-American softball player at Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO) and has a keen interest in pediatric sports medicine. She was in pediatric private practice in Cape Girardeau for 13 years, also serving as team physician for the SEMO women’s athletics program and as co-medical director of the university’s athletic training education program.
 
Dr. Eugene Evra is board eligible and joins Ranken Jordan after extensive study and practice in pediatric surgery and physical medicine and rehabilitation. Dr. Evra specializes in spasticity management. Previously, Dr. Evra was chief resident in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency Program at Washington University School of Medicine.

Dr. Evra earned his medical degree in 1996 from the Smolensk State Medical Academy in Russia. He has given numerous presentations on pediatric rehabilitation issues and is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as the St. Louis Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
